Ella Humphreys discusses the impact on civil liberties of Queensland's 'bikie' laws

This article, from The Guardian Australia, February 2014, discusses the impact of the new bikie laws.  'To associate freely, to speak freely, to protest against injustice and to wear what we wish surely relates to that. Restrictions on association, no matter how well intended, potentially lead to two outcomes: a lurch toward despotism, or a crushing imposition of social conformity.'
