RIP the carbon tax – repeal: ‘the perfect storm of stupidity’

The Conversation (18.7.14) carried four articles on the demise of the carbon tax:  everyone loses except for the large greenhouse emitters; gone is an ‘important pillar of any sensible climate policy’.  This week’s fiasco in the Senate described as a ‘tragedy’ and a ‘perfect storm of stupidity’.
