The Abbott Government’s incomprehensible attitude to renewable energy

‘Two of the most successful and important forms of renewable energy in Australia are wind and solar. These two industries are absolutely crucial for future climate change mitigation and adaptation.’

Samantha Hepburn argues in The Conversation (13.7.15) that the government may have breached its obligations under the Clean Energy Finance Corporation’s legislation when it directed the CEFC to invest no further in wind and small-scale solar.
