Our Research Associates include a large panel of academic researchers with expertise in diverse areas of public policy, drawn from across several universities in Queensland and beyond. Many researchers also have significant experience inside the public service.

Professor Colebatch's research Interests in the broad field of the organization of public authority; policy as a construct in use and the way it is mobilised to shape practice.  He gives particular attention to the professionalisation of policy practice and the significance of inter-linkage between governmental and non-governmental forms of organization, and of the organising of practice beyond the official sphere.

Professor Colebatch is Chair of the Research Committee on Public Policy and Administration, International Political Science Association; and a Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration Australia.
