Our Research Associates include a large panel of academic researchers with expertise in diverse areas of public policy, drawn from across several universities in Queensland and beyond. Many researchers also have significant experience inside the public service. 

These experts can offer an additional source of policy advice for those developing or commenting on public policy in Queensland. All members, their research fields, and their contact details, are listed below.

Dr Brigid Limerick retired from the Queensland University of Technology in 1999, where she had been Head of School of Cultural and Policy Studies, Faculty of Education.   She was an Associate Professor, lecturing in the Master of Education (Leadership and Management) and teaching/supervising Doctoral students in area of Leadership.  After retirement she was appointed Adjunct Associate Professor, Graduate School of Education, University of Queensland. She was awarded her Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Queensland in 1988, for her thesis on 'Community Involvement in Schools: A Study of Three Queensland Secondary Schools'.

She now works as a volunteer helping refugees settling in Brisbane.
