John Hewson writes in the Brisbane Times (30.8.16) that the ICAC findings demonstrate the need for politicians to clean up their act:
‘It is a national disgrace that the major parties know exactly what needs to be done, and have the capacity to do it, but choose not to do it, each believing that they can better exploit the system to their electoral advantage.’
