What in our name?

TJRyan Research Associate, Dr Noel Preston, in his article ‘NOT IN MY NAME, Mr MORRISON’ writes on compassion in public policy, focussing on Australia’s offshore refugee detention centres.  The abolition of the annual visiting rights of prisoners’ advocacy groups to correctional centres in Queensland has disturbing echoes of the Abbot government’s blackout of information over our treatment of refugees.
