Consultation called for Arts Queensland’s 10-year roadmap

Arts Queensland and the state government have opened a public consultation period for input to the drafting of a 10-year ‘roadmap’ for Queensland’s arts and cultural sector. The consultation period closes on Tuesday, 18 December 2018.

‘The arts, cultural and creative sector has great potential to connect communities, drive cultural tourism, create employment opportunities and affect positive change in all areas of society, from education to health and justice issues.

‘We invite you to provide the Queensland Government with your insights and ideas on how the arts, cultural and creative sector can drive positive economic and social outcomes for Queensland.

‘Arts Queensland is leading an 8-week consultation process for Creating Queensland’s Future, supported by a discussion paper and surveys (for the community and the arts sector). Arts Queensland is also coordinating face-to-face consultations, regional forums and the collection of written submissions.’
