Michael Cope on the bikie laws

Michael Cope wrote in the Guardian Australia on 6 November 2013 about the assault on civil liberties by the ‘bikie’ laws.  In the meantime, let’s keep this in mind: freedom is indivisible.  If we do not object now to the principle that people can be jailed because of who they know or what organisations they join, inevitably this legislation will be extended to a cause or person nearer and dearer to you than bikies.
