Bringing the free market down to earth is a moral question

Jean-Paul Gagnon and Mark Chou write in The Conversation (1.10.14): ‘The lack of regulation, the weak enforcement of existing regulations and the missing participation of citizens in creating policy and renewing regulations over economic matters is a moral issue. It is wrong, and a distressing mistake, for power-monopolisers such as governments to shirk their obligation to respond to the crisis democratically.’
