Direct Action could bring a useful outcome: carbon trading?

Alan Pears AM writes in The Conversation (4.11.14) that ‘all of the current debate about Australia’s response to climate change is focused on paths that are completely inadequate compared with the action that climate science tells us we must take. If we were really serious, we would no longer be trying to expand our fossil-fuel production’.
