Don’t trash our institutional capital

Abbott’s court is full of flatterers, and it’s a recipe for groupthink

Ian McAuley (The Conversation, 14.10.14) argues that the Abbott Government is in danger of ‘groupthink’: ‘It’s unwise to damage the credibility of a nation’s economic institutions, and bypassing them in favour of other (often partisan) sources of advice is politically risky for the government itself.
