GP co-payment would increase emergency department waiting times

A group of researchers explain, in The Conversation (11.7.14), how new modelling shows that the introduction of a GP co-payment could see average emergency department visits increase by between six minutes and almost three hours, as more patients opt for free hospital care rather than paying to see their local general practitioner.
