ALP highlights LNP broken election promises

‘The LNP think it can, Labor won’t make “false promises”. Electricity prices and what both parties plan on doing about them continues to plague the election campaign. Queensland electricity prices have jumped by about 50 per cent in the past three years and the Newman government was haunted by a 2012 election promise to cut them.’ (Brisbane Times, 18.1.15)
