Honesty and integrity important to voters

‘With campaigning for the Queensland election in full swing, 612 ABC Brisbane asked listeners to share on social media one word that is most important to them ahead of this month’s poll. On Twitter @viviehar53 said ‘honesty’ and @fitant said ‘integrity’ – was a common theme that sat high on participants’ lists. Unemployment, daylight saving, and asset sales were other common issues raised.’ (ABC News, 17.1.15)

This was borne out by polling undertaken in the week after election by the Australia Institute.
