‘Long-serving Ipswich councillor Paul Tully has this anecdote about Pauline Hanson’s success in winning a federal senate spot 20 years after her first win in 1996.

‘”She has proven former prime minister Paul Keating wrong when he said that a soufflé never rises twice,” he said.’
