Research Report 47: Senior Secondary School Assessment in Queensland

TJRyan Foundation Research Associate John MCollow describes the Queensland senior secondary assessment and tertiary entrance system, examines the cases for and against it, assesses the degree to which it is supported by stakeholders, and summarises the outcomes of the review.

McCollow concludes that while the review has resulted in some significant changes to the Queensland system, it is unlikely that these changes will put an end to debate about senior secondary assessment in Queensland.
