‘How well is the Queensland economy performing? To help answer that question, there have been seven reports in seven days, with a variety of opinions on a range of measures — and prompting a variety of interpretations and reactions from the State Government and the Opposition.
‘The NAB and Sensis published their findings on business confidence, Westpac released its measure of consumer sentiment, the ANZ with the Property Council released a survey, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland (CCIQ)provided an economic update, ratings agency Moody’s released its latest credit opinion and Deloitte’s offered up its business outlook.
‘Some of the results are good, some are just OK and others are not so good.’
