Professor Ian Lowe on the denial of science

Don’t let denial get in the way

Professor Ian Lowe discusses in The Conversation (3.2.14) the backlash against science from those whose interests or ideologies are threatened, and the responsibility that scientists have to counter the misinformation about climate science promulgated by the deniers of the inconvenient truth.

‘… Those views are less frequently observed today, with a growing acceptance that the public has a right to know what they are supporting. Even if those who pay the piper don’t call the tune, they should at least hear the music!’
