Will carbon pricing come back on the agenda?

Ian Verrender, ABC The Drum, writes that Direct Action ‘gets it all wrong’, citing a senior policy advisor to the Coalition (then in opposition) as having commented: “You know what the main difference is between us? The (Labor) government wants to take money from polluters and give it to taxpayers while the Coalition wants to take money from taxpayers and give it to polluters.” Verrender predicts that carbon pricing may come back on the agenda.
