Did the health reform process fail? Now we’ll never know

On 12 June, in The Conversation, Stephen Duckett, Director of the Grattan Institute’s Health Program, recorded with regret that the (COAG) Reform Council had just issued its last five year report card on health reform.  The COAG Reform Council, he wrote, ‘has been sacrificed on the altar of savings in the May budget, and we will no longer know how our governments are performing’.
