Grantham Floods Commission of Inquiry report

The report of the Grantham Floods Inquiry initiated to inquiry into the causes of the catastrophic floods in Grantham in 2011 was presented to the government in 2015.

The report found that neither the quarry, nor the buildings and materials at the plant area on the eastern side of the u-shaped bend of the Lockyer Creek, materially contributed to the damage caused in Grantham or near the quarry by the flooding on 10 January 2011.
