Abbott’s Coalition: fighting old battles, losing the war

‘Two weeks after Tony Abbott called for heads to roll at the ABC, it’s safe to say that the Coalition’s June anti-terror offensive wasn’t a great success. Not electorally, anyway: the polls have continued to drift Labor’s way. Coalition MPs are no doubt wondering whether another line of attack, couresy of the trade union royal commission, will finally undo Labor’s seemingly intractable lead in the polls.’
