The ‘Joh for PM’ campaign

Amy Remeikis (Brisbane Times, 22.6.15) provides an overview of a book by Paul Davey about the 1987 ‘Joh for PM’ campaign. ‘Paul Davey, then federal director of the National Party, was there. He watched as the Queensland National Party, as stable as the land its farming supporter base worked, descended into civil war’.
