Protest against Ray ‘Chicken Dance’ Stevens’ involvement in cableway

‘Feathers continue to fly in the electorate of Gold Coast MP Ray Stevens over his stake in a controversial cableway proposal. A group of protesters, dressed as chickens, waved placards outside a pre-polling booth at Nobby Beach. ‘Cableway No Way’ spokeswoman Ceris Ash said Mr Stevens had a conflict of interest because he was both consultant and investor on the proposed $100 million project.’ (ABC News (27.1.15).
